Anna Mildred (Armstrong) Rooker, 86, passed away on the morning of February 21, 2013. Mrs. Rooker was a homemaker and member of the Covington Assembly of God Church in Covington. 

Mrs. Rooker is survived by her son Phil A. Townsend of Memphis; daughter, Jeannee G. Shoemake of Nesbit, MS; brother, Earl Armstrong. of Arlington; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rooker was preceded in death by her husbands, Malcolm Townsend and BIll Rooker; brothers, Ruben and Hurbert Armstrong; and sister, Betty Jacques.

Larry Howard will be officiating the service.

Jeanee Gail & Phil, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I always thought lot of your mother. I have wonderful childhood memorys of your Mom and all my cousins.
My pray for you as well as all of my cousins who has loss either their Dad or Mom. Is that you allow the Holy Spirit to comfort you and love with the Father's love and tenderness.
