Betty Griffith Hogan, 89, died March 8, 2019, at her residence in Covington. Mrs. Hogan was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church. The widow of William Thomas "Billy" Hogan, Jr., she leaves her daughters, Mina (Con, Jr.) Lambert of Hernando, MS and Ann (Billy Mac, Jr.) McGowan of Covington; grandchildren Kimberly (Justin) Camp, Con Lambert, III, Will (Melissa) McGowan, III, Anna Laura (Matt) Burkhart, and Hogan (Evan) Gangaware; and great-grandchildren Lily Camp, Andi Lambert, Asa Lambert, Greta McGowan, Anderson Burkhart, Caroline Burkhart, and Mac Burkhart. She was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Hogan, and her parents Charles Landon and Corrie Lorene Short Griffith; and by her brother, Charles “Tiny” Griffith.
Visitation for Mrs. Hogan will be Thursday, March 14, from 12PM until services at 2PM, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery in Covington.
