Mr. Claude Estes Hopper, 99 of Brighton, passed away on May 27, 2018. Mr. Hopper was a self-employed carpenter, a United States Army Veteran that served during World War II, and a member of the Brighton A. R. P. Church.
Mr. Hopper is survived by his daughter, Janice Hopper (Bobby) Payne of Senatobia, MS; his son, Thomas O. Hopper of Scottsboro, AL; his step-son, Scottie (Betty) Gladney of Covington; his grandsons, Thomas Wayne Hopper and Trey (Amy) Sowell; and his great-grandchildren, Speir and Caroline Sowell. Mr. Hopper was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Nell Pennel Hopper and Evelyn Gladney Hopper; by his daughter, Carol Hopper Sowell; and by his 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services for Mr. Hopper will be held on Wedneday, May 30th, at 11 AM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10-11 prior to the services starting. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
