Raymond "Country" Kenneth Parker

Obituary Raymond K. Parker, age 71, passed away on December 29, 2022 at Laurelwood Nursing Home in Jackson, Tn.  He was a rifleman for the United States Marines.  The ones that knew Raymond simply called him "Country."  He had a passion for trading, and he was a friend to anyone that he met.  The term "down to earth" fit him to the tee, all the way down the the overalls he wore each day.  He made a life long friend in a local gentleman named Ryan Payne of Brighton, TN. Ryan continued to care for Mr. Parker during his last few months, along with the staff at Laurelwood Nursing Home.We ask that if you have any special memories of Mr. Parker that you share them on his tribute wall.A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 11:00 at Covington Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Raymond "Country" Kenneth Parker, please visit our floral store.Read MoreRead Obituary
