Alexander David Austill, age 16, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. His bright, witty, kind, and thoughtful mind inspired love and admiration in all whom he met. He loved music, photography, and film, pursuing them all with a steadfast zeal that only youth can bolster, playing trumpet in the Covington High School Band, earbuds streaming melodies and rhythms, and carrying his camera wherever he may go. Alexander possessed a uniqueness that wove through his life forming a tapestry both dapper and dazzling. He is survived, loved, and remembered by his father, Adam Austill; mother, Anna Messer Austill (Adam Given); two brothers, Dylan Austill & Jack Callahan; two sisters, Lillith Austill & Saleena Austill; grandparents, David & Marsha Austill, Tim & Sandy Messer, and Jimmy & Mary Whittemore.
Services for Alexander Austill will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church in Covington. Visitation for friends and family will be from 5:00p.m. until 6:00p.m., with the memorial service to begin at 6:00p.m. To celebrate the memory of Alexander, and in honor of his unique and “weird” style, the family is inviting you to show your support by wearing a hat, cape, or other unconventional items.
