Mrs. Doris Dean Hicks, 89, passed away December 1, 2020, at her home. She was a member of The Refuge Church in Covington. The widow of Joseph N. Hicks, Jr., she leaves her daughters Janie (Danny) Max of Munford and Angie (Mike) Moulder of Crossville; sons Lynn (Teresa) Hicks of Eads and Tommy (Gail) Hicks of Huntingdon; sister Patricia Louise Lovins of Dyersburg; grandchildren Lori Graves, Jennifer King, Brandon Smith, Amber Weaver, Stephanie Cook, Erin Stark, Joseph Hicks, and Jessica Carnett; twenty great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchidlren. She was also preceded in death by her siblings C. B. Hopper, Leland Hopper, Hazel Bennett, and Betty Vaughn.

Visitation for Mrs. Hicks will be 5-8 Friday, December 4, with funeral services conducted by Bro. Dennis Peeler 11AM Saturday, December 5, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
