Glenda Fay Burns

September 24, 1937 ~ February 6, 2022 (age 84)


Mrs. Glenda Fay Burns, 84, member of Smyrna Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her residence.  Mrs. Burns was retired from Vanity Fair in Henning.  The widow of Paul Alexander Burns, she leaves her daughters, Janet Cross of Brighton, Belinda Denise (David) Park of Covington, and Lisa Michelle (Wade) Jones of Burlison; son Alex Dean (Terri) Burns of Pearl, MS; brothers Wayne Hartsfield, Chris Hartsfield, and Kenneth Hartsfield, all of Covington; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Clayton Coats; brothers Jerry Hartsfield, Harold Dean Hartsfield, and an infant brother; and a sister, Martha Kellum.

Visitation for Mrs. Burns will be 5-8PM Wednesday, February 9, with funeral services 11AM Thursday, February 10, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
