Obituary

Mr. Leo Hampton, 91, retired warehouse manager for Grisham, passed away January 7, 2021, in Memphis.  He was a US Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.  The husband of Betty Patrick Hampton, he also leaves daughters Brenda Hampton Jones of Munford, Jean Hampton of Oakland, and Donna (Rory) Hampton Brogden of Atoka; sons Leo D. (Brenda) Hampton of Millington, Jeff (Sherry) Hampton of Arlington, and Scott Hampton of Oakland; sisters Evie Ann Malone of Hickory Withe, Joyce Dempsey of Memphis, Linda Keel of Hickory Withe, Loyce Stelling of Bartlett, and Evelyn Marbry of Arlington; brother David Hampton of Claremont, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Hampton, in 2013.

Visitation for Mr. Hampton will be Wednesday, January 13, from 11AM until funeral services at 1PM, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home.  Interment with funeral honors will follow in Salem Cemetery in Atoka.
