Loys Brown Hadley, 87, member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired correctional officer at Fort Pillow State Prison, passed away January 13, 2022, at his home. The husband of Carolyn Thompson Hadley for 65 years, he also leaves his daughters Charlotte (Thomas) Fleming of Covington, Lisa (Jason) Patton of Halls, and Shelia (Tracy) Avant of Ripley; sister Lorell Hadley of Covington; brother Paul Hadley of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Heather Gurley, Bradley Fleming, Brandon Avant, Robyn Patton, Jeremy Avant, Amber Avant, and Matthew Patton; and great-grandchildren Elsie, Arya, Emma, Luke, Lyanna, Charlotte, Xavier, and Jameson.
Services for Mr. Hadley will be 12PM Tuesday, January 18, at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
