Michael Hayes Rose

May 2, 1948 ~ December 23, 2020 (age 72)


Mr. Michael "Mike" Hayes Rose, 72 of Covington, passed away on the morning of December 23, 2020 at the Jackson General Hospital. Mr. Rose was the owner of Mikes Marina, a member of the Garland Baptist Church, an avid hunter and fisherman, a fan of the Covington Chargers, Memphis Tigers Basketball, and Tennessee Volunteers Football. 

Mr. Rose is survived by his wife, Kay Bradshaw Rose; his sons, Hunter Rose (Holli) of Covington and Chad Smith (April) of Brighton; his daughter, Janna Honeycutt (Jason) of Covington; his brother, Don Rose of Springville, TN; his sister, Tiny Rose of Covington; and six grandchildren, McKayla Honeycutt, Hayes Honeycutt, Huntley Rose, Madie Rose, Cathleen Rose, Sydney Smith. Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his parents, Uzell Curtis and Margie Louise Chapman Rose.

A graveside service for Mr. Rose will be held on Monday, December 28th, at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery.
