Phillip Eugene Trotter, 83, member of Brighton Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in Galloway. Mr. Trotter was a retired factory maintenanceman, a former National Guardsman, and was a 60-year member of Dunham Masonic Lodge #150 in Covington. The widower of Martha Jane Trotter, he leaves his sons Phil (Daphne) Trotter and Keith (Ginny) Trotter, both of Brighton; sister Carolyn Patrick of Brighton; grandchildren Andi Reiter of Plano,TX, Amy Borneman of Germantown, Modesty Phillips of Brighton, Michael Trotter of Brighton, Nicki Draffin of Atoka, Brandon Daugherty of Brighton, and Mina Weldy of Brighton; and great grandchildren Gage Reiter, Kailyn Reiter, Aiden Reiter, Caden Borneman, Chloe Borneman, Carter Borneman, Kaylee Higgs, Cayden Fletcher, Cody Draffin, Cora Draffin, Lindsey Jane Daugherty, and Corbin Daugherty. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Pace, Grace Portis, Virginia Watkins, Charles Oliver Trotter, Jr., Robert Trotter, Richard Trotter, and Billy Trotter.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, August 21, with funeral services officiated by Dr. Meredith Cavin 11AM Saturday, August 22, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Morrison Cemetery in Brighton.
