Ruby Lee Marshall, passed away on September 24, 2022. She was born in Pensacola. FL to the late Rube and Tabitha Harper on May 30, 1934. Mrs. Marshall was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Covington. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women’s Group where she enjoyed serving in nursing homes. Ruby was named as an unsung hero in her church for serving others and being so selfless, she will forever be a hero in her family’s hearts.
Mrs. Marshall is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, David Austin Marshall.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Raynor of Chattanooga; sons, Duane Marshall (Annessa) of Rossville, TN, Roger Dale Marshall of Memphis, and Barry Austin Marshall (Missy) of Collierville, TN; sisters, Jeri and Judy Harper, nine grandchildren, Chad Marshall, Jay Raynor, Katey Marshall, Ashley Clark, Austin Lee Marshall, Alex Marshall, Blake Marshall, Addy Brown Marshall, and Barrett Marshall; and nine great-grandchildren, Brennan Wingo, Aubrey JoyAnn Raynor, Allyson Marshall, William Clark, Harper Wingo, Gracie Raynor, Marshall Clark, Seamus Marshall and Nora Marshall.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 3:00pm at Covington Memorial Gardens.
