Shirley (McBride) Max

Obituary

Shirley McBride Max, of Covington, TN, passed away on July 22, 2022.  She was born on May 19, 1933 to the late Melvin E. McBride and Virgie Goode McBride.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Williard E Max, her daughter, Patricia Max Price, seven brothers, and seven sisters.  She leaves behind an immense amount of family; son, Doug Max (Pam) of Uriah, AL, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.  Shirley was a member of Garland United Methodist Church.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.  

Services will be held on July 25, 2022, at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home, with a visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. and services to start at 2:00 P.M.  The interment will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.  All memorials can be made to Garland United Methodist Church.
