Obituary

Thomas Franklin Sawyer, Jr., 87 of Munford, passed away on the evening of December 21st, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Sawyer was a United States Army Veteran that served in the special forces and as a paratrooper, was a Certified Public Accountant, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Sawyer is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cecilia Sawyer; his son, Thomas Jason Sawyer (Rebecca) of Millington; and his grandchildren, Justin and Josh Sawyer; his son-in-law, William Smith of Avon, IN; and his sister-in-law, Debra McGee of Fayettville, TN. Mr. Sawyer was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Franklin, Sr. and. Mary Margaret Sawyer; and by his daughter, Carla Leigh Sawyer Smith.

A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Sawyer at R. H. Munford Cemetery.
