Obituary
Mr. Thurman "Johnny" Harkness, Jr., 65 of Pontotoc, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 17th, 2021. Mr. Harkness attended Crosspoint Ministries in Tupelo, MS, and was a self-employed carpenter.
Mr. Harkness is survived by his son, Jonathan Allen Harkness; his daughter, Christy Harkness Tusheck; his sisters, Betty Stern and Diane Leonhardt, both of Pontotoc, MS. Mr. Harkness was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman J., Sr. and Betty Stafford Harkness; and by his two siblings.
Visitation for Mr. Harkness will be held on Monday, January 25th, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Funeral home with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 in Macedonia Cemetery.
