William Horace Gilbreath

Obituary

William Horace Gilbreath, 81, passed away on May 30,2022 in Henry County Tennessee.  William was born and raised in Covington, Tennessee.  He was a graduate of Byars Hall High School in 1959.  He later attended University of Memphis.  William was the proud owner of Paris Landing Trading Post before retiring and enjoying life.  

William was the son of the late Frank Elmer Gilbreath and Mamie Conaway Gilbreath.  He was preceded in death by two brothers; Sanford Gilbreath and Glenn Gilbreath, three sisters; Doris Ann Gilbreath Bruce, Kay Gilbreath Hill, and Martha Lynn Gilbreath.  He leaves behind his ex-wife, Christine Gilbreath, children; Jeff Gilbreath, Shawn Gilbreath, and Patrick Gilbreath (Beverly), four grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother, Herschel Gilbreath, five sisters; Helen Stepp, Myra Rickard, Janice Owen, Betty Melendy, and Rita Carlyn.  William Horace will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. 

A visitation service for Mr. Gilbreath will be held at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., on June 2, 2022, with services starting 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Covington, Tennessee.
